Just got back from the Oregon Coast...

My aunt Karla and I both blew a glass float. I have watched many a hot shop, but I have never jumped in to actually do it... it was really cool, and now I have a pretty float to show for it.
The kid helping me was great (I say kid because it was like having one of my students show me how to do it) and he made sure that my complementary colors didn't mix on the ball and cause a muddy color. I insisted on blue-green and red, and they were nice enough to let me do it.
Rick ate cookies and let his knee heal. He also played a lot of video games (Lori and Steeeeve got a Wii, and it's actually a fun setup).
Dad is silly.
Lori cheered when someone got a strike in Nintendo Bowling.
